Bridget Carter

4K teacher, director

Mrs. Carter has been teaching at Columbus Preschool since 2015, but she's been around much longer. Her oldest two children attended the school, and during that time she served as president of our volunteer board of directors. In 2008 she taught 4K at Cardinal Country Daycare in Columbus, and then stayed home with her kids for a few years. She was the full-time 4K teacher at Red Bud Daycare in Columbus for a few years before joining us at the preschool. Mrs. Carter has a degree in early childhood education from Wright State University in Ohio. She lives in Beaver Dam with her husband and three children, and she's dedicated to forming a long-lasting relationship with Columbus Preschool!

Mrs. Hoffman has undergraduate degrees in psychology and sociology and a master’s in social work, and she has 10 years of experience working with children and families. Before providing in-home childcare, Mrs. Hoffman worked for Birth to 3 (Wisconsin’s early intervention program). A member of the Columbus Preschool Board of Directors for five years, all three of Mrs. Hoffman’s children have attended the preschool. She has been a substitute teacher in our classrooms, and to further her education, she recently earned an early childhood education teaching certificate. Mrs. Hoffman is passionate about making learning fun and instilling a sense of curiosity in children.
